Submit your painting and take part in the "GOLDEN BRUSH PAINTING CONTEST"! See your artwork published and included in the 'Golden Brush Gallery'.

The current Chancellor's proposal for this year is "The Pre-Raphaelites": in 1848 in England, a group of young painters got together and decided that they had their own idea of what a painting should be. Thus, in rebellion to The Royal Academy, they formed a secret society called "The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood".

Instead of painting the typical still-lifes, landscapes and seascapes, they drew their subject matters from medieval tales, biblical stories, classical mythology, and nature itself. Make a painting or a colored drawing on any of these themes and become a member the most artistic secret brotherhood of all times!

• Your painting can be made using any technique. It must be horizontal, and proportional to 3 x 4 (approximately). 

• Please gain permission from a parent or guardian before sending your image, if you are under age. In some States you are not allowed to make a submission yourself if you are under fourteen years. In this case, ask who ever takes care of you to do it for you.

• Let us know your name, your age, and your city and state.

• By submitting your painting, you warrant that it is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available. You, or your legal tutors, also grant this site a license to modify and use it in anyway we see fit.

• Finally, the first thing true artists must learn is to enter in fair competition with other artists. Sometimes you win, sometimes you do not. The road to success is very hard! Please, do not get upset if your painting does not appear here. This does not mean that your painting was not as good as the selected ones.

To submit your painting you need to be aged 13 or over, and have an account on Facebook. In case you cannot make a submission yourself, ask who ever takes care of you to do it for you. But state clearly that you are the one who created it, and do not allow any one else to take credit for your work ;o)

Post you painting on the Colorland's wall. Remember to include a title, your name, your age and where you live:

A selection of the most voted ones (every 'LIKE' is a vote), the ones we think would have had many votes but were submitted late, and the paintings that we think in Colorland that are worth to be here, will be displayed at the 'Golden Brush Gallery'.
